Now we have all dried out we can share the year 10 boys were knocked out the county cup in wild conditions against a strong Derby Moor side.
U14 girls played their first tournament of the year and demonstrated some strong performances in their tightly contested matches.
Heavy rain moved year 7 football training inside this evening. We had a cracking tournament instead with PSG winning the league format.
Year 9 are due to play Da Vinci tomorrow evening which will likely be their last league game until Feb due to the dark nights.
Big night of sport again this evening. Year 8 footballers played St Benedicts and secured a 9-6 victory. Izach bagging 7 goals personally.
Year 10 netball competed in the city wide netball tournament and represented themselves well against some tough opposition.
Great experience for year 7 footballers to get their season under way. We won 2 games, drew 1 and lost 1. Some excellent individual performances but a special mention to Jesse who selflessly provided others with goals when he easily could have taken the chances himself.

Year 11 fell to a 1-0 defeat against St Benedicts whilst year 8 were a 6 goal thriller as they drew with Derby Moor 3-3.
Our year 11 GCSE PE students continue working on their practical element of their course today as they head to Moorways to focus on their athletics with Mrs Collington and Mr Mycroft. Let’s hope the weather is kind!
Another dramatic game for year 10 against Littleover. We took a 2-1 lead through goals courtesy of Isaac and Devon before Littleover scored 2 quick goals making it 3-2. A last minute header from Rammy made it 3-3 giving us a well earned point.
Mr Dobson’s Year 10 footballers travel to Littleover this evening with the ambition of extending their unbeaten season.
Girls football continues with Miss Ricketts as we move closer to the start of tournaments and fixtures. Will be great to continue to see good attendance!
Over 30 students at year 7 football training; 20 plus at basketball and a fantastic 6-1 win for the year 8s to get their first 3 points of the season.
Netball extension tomorrow evening which is open to everyone. Tournaments start next week so training is important!
An absolute thriller in the year 10 fixture. We were 3 goals to the good before a Woodlands comeback making it 3-3, however a late goal made it 4-3 to us! Rammy, Ashton, Aaman and Isaac with the goals.
Sixth form were on the wrong side of a heavy defeat to John Port.
On the back of an emphatic win for the year 9 football team last night. The sixth form travel to play John Port and year 10 host Woodlands.
Unfortunately the year 7s game was off due to unforeseen circumstances.
The club has today announced that attacking midfielder Omari Kellyman has put pen to paper on a professional contract with the club.

Unfortunately two losses in the opening fixtures for year 8 and 11. Yr 8 going down 3-1 and year 11 2-0. However, there was an excellent turn out to year 7 football training as they prepare for their first set of games tomorrow.
Year 8 and Year 11 kick off their football seasons tonight with fixtures against Da Vinci and Leesbrook respectively.
Dancers and Basketball is also on for all years. Be at the changing rooms for 3.15 if you wish to participate.
Year 10 footballers opened their season following their promotion last year with an excellent 2-0 victory away at Murray Park. Goals were scored by Isaac and Josh. Well done to all those involved.
