This demonstrates the success of labor activism in the arts! After more than 6 months of organizing, these dancers go down in labor history & have demonstrated that creatives have 'worker power'!

Geog 305 (Intro to the City) students presented their final research this week on contemporary urban issues. Instructor Lauren Gerlowski said, “Welcome to the final day of Geog 305 – Congrats, we made it!” as students cheered. We can’t think of a better way to end the semester!

Particularly interested in the depictions of comdians and singers in NYC in this read ~ the re-opening of the 'spraying arts' https://t.co/Ig63YGWkWB via @NewYorker
