House Democrats just voted to let one of America's most important counterterrorism tools expire.

This is the program that caught the ISIS plot to slaughter tens of thousands at a Taylor Swift concert. That tracked down the NYC subway bomber. That fed the raid on cartel kingpin El Mencho and helped take out ISIS leaders overseas.

Those threats are still out there. The tool that caught them just went dark.
