WV Birth-to-Three provides essential and life-changing services to children in our state.

The therapists working in our Birth-to-Three program show up to people's homes day in and day out and provide life-changing services to children with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, motor function delays, speech delays, and other developmental delays.

These people show up to people's homes on their own dimes with their own personal vehicles. They are not considered state employees, so they do not qualify for PEIA or any state benefits, and they are responsible most of the time for buying their own resources and supplies!

They have done all of this for the last 22 years without a single rate increase from the state.

The only reason they are still showing up to work is because they care about West Virginia and her children.

I am proud to be the lead sponsor of this bill, and I am very thankful for the full list of individuals who stepped up and co-sponsored this legislation with me.
