Last week the LICAB Community Leadership Awards made their debut, celebrating the students showing consistent kindness, character and leadership in the Connetquot School District. The 38 students recognized hailed from all 10 of the district's buildings.

Our ongoing celebration of the LICAB Community Leadership Awards continues this time over in Valley Stream Central High School District, where we partnered with the Character Education department in Valley Stream South High School to award 6 students the inaugural awards.

Next stop for the 2026 LICAB Community Leadership Awards is Deer Park High School, where one graduating senior was selected for the distinction at their annual Senior Awards ceremony based on internal building selection. Congratulations to this year's winner, Caiden Boltz!
