@Off_The_RailsUK@Champs707007 No one really knows, there’s about 5 credible answers but the most likely is because in navigational logs on ships, Portsmouth point was shortened to Pom P.
Well that was 8 hours of bedlam…. The amount of time and effort it took to arrange the trains that did actually run. The DRMs and some very helpful crew made a huge difference!
@Sam82767021 That said, everyone I spoke to today was proactive and helpful and I know those on the front line would have had a torrid time with last minute cancellations and lots of abuse.

@WalshyTravels Not a problem Mark, we don’t usually do welfare checks for COA when there’s no SPAR and fit to continue, but I knew you’d had issues recently.
@Champs707007 There used to be another work around for that duty, get the BM driver to work W28 forward to BSK with an SSO, not sure if the diagrams are the same since the T/T change
