CM Punk spoke about how he and Paul Heyman barely escaped a “field of pyro pots” after his match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 29.
“They normally will play like video packages for whatever’s coming up next, right? You don’t see the aftermath, you don’t see me and Paul leaving and stuff like that. Because there’s going to be new people coming down the ramp at the start of the match, you often go side ramp to get backstage. The WrestleMania ramp is gigantic. It’s huge. It’s cold, the adrenaline is now wearing off. I lay out there dead on the floor, Taker does a celebration, they blow off pyro, they tribute Paul Bearer. I’m cold, stiffness is setting in. I know my knee is banged up. Paul Heyman’s literally got an arm around my neck and we’re trying to make it through the tightness of where the fans are and the ramp. We get out and they turn the lights on because I can’t remember exactly who was coming out next, it was maybe Brock or Triple H. When the lights come back on, we realize we’re in this field of pyro pots. They’re about to go off. They’re about to blow us up. It’s pitch black, Taker’s doing his thing and I’m limping through this thing. I’m tripping, what am I tripping on? When the lights come on, oh sh*t, we’re going to blow up. So now, me and Paul — you know, Paul’s not a track star by any stretch of the imagination — he’s carrying me half ass, and you know, my knee. So we start trying to hurry before they blow us up. I’m cold, I’m stiff, and I can’t move. Paul can’t move. We barely made it before they blew it up. I finally get to the back and everyone’s like, ‘What took you so long?’ I was like, ‘You f*ckers almost killed us.’”

Didn't love that main event last night, the crowd were into it (a good thing btw) but felt like any other Roman main event match.
Walk through crowd, move then pause, finish spam, talk, ref bump.
Didn't have that much patience for Shield Lore or Cole's commentary
Just too much
The worst part is Michael Cole spoon feeding the audience that they’re watching a classic moment instead of letting the moment speak for itself. He has the subtlety of a refrigerator. Actively takes away from cool moments.

ANYWAY. Good things about Night 1:
- Iyo's headspring reversal
- The opener in general
- The pure vibes of team Solo/Knight/Royce
- WHAT'S THE STORY MORNING GLORY
- Heel Bellas again feels way more natural
- Punk's table bump
- Tombstone on the boards somehow delivered safely
