There is so much talent in this one photograph. It represents some of the very best and brightest MMA athletes that Ireland will produce over the next decade.

Get behind your athletes Ireland. They've worked their asses off to be here and deserve all the support you can muster.

Processing this nugget from @lizziefilips: "My belief is that burnout is not determined by how much work we do but on how much work we don't want to do at the time we are actually doing it". 🙌

Look at these 2 amazing ladies, completing what others only dream of
20 weeks , 5 mornings at 6am per week , couch to cage and to celebrate make the walk in front of their family & friends april 16th in Cork @trainalta @John_Kavanagh @nicklangton @SBGCorkCity @LiamOgGriffin

It was so awesome having @InvictaFights Strawweight World MMA Champion @dannimccormack at @SBGCorkCity
giving her time and knowledge to the youths ‘ legacy is not what I did for myself. It’s what I am doing for the next generation’ - Victor Belford
@LiamOgGriffin @John_Kavanagh

[Gym Momma @MarleneGriffin]

This is great for Eoin O’Connell , as he was a contestant in @trainalta Cork @SBGCorkCity series 9 , he trained 20 weeks, 5 mornings at 6am per week and from there became @IMMAAOnline national champion in Yellow division @John_Kavanagh @nicklangton

[Andy Stevenson @andyste123]

I think Bellator, PFL or Cage Warriors would be smart to snap Andreeas up for one of their upcoming Dublin shows.

Coming off a win over 27-fight veteran Chris Stringer. 5 of his 7 wins are finishes. Already beaten a former UFC fighter. Exciting fighting style.

No brainer.

By my count, Ireland has 6 "Active" Pro female fighters.

A win for Leah McCourt vs Cat Zingano on Friday would mean it's not out of the question that 4 of them could compete for World championships in 2023.

Incredible from such a small talent pool.
