We can confirm that Morgan Williams has departed the club to join York City for an undisclosed fee.

Morgan leaves Huish Park having made 185 appearances in green and white, and was a key part of the squad that secured promotion back to the National League in the 2023/24 season.

The club offered Morgan a long-term contract in an effort to retain his services, however he has chosen to move back up north to be closer to his family.

We would like to place on record our thanks to Morgan for his commitment and contribution during his time with Yeovil Town, and wish him well for the future.

In the interim, Richard Dryden will assume responsibility for First Team matters while the club begins the process of appointing a new permanent manager.
