"Não, não, nós não fazíamos isso. Se a gente tirasse o pé e deixasse o carro ir no embalo, era mais como uma 'dosada'. Dosar o acelerador quando você está no vácuo de alguém e decide não ultrapassar. Isso é economizar combustível e dosar o pé. E isso é inteligente.

Ter que deixar um computador assumir o controle do carro para colher energia para a bateria, isso é algo totalmente diferente. E nós não reduzíamos 50 ou 70 km/h ao entrar nas curvas mais rápidas. Então, é um pouco forçado comparar as duas coisas, eu diria.

E, sabe, mesmo que você não tenha me perguntado, eu simpatizo enormemente com os pilotos. Acho que está muito perigoso no momento. E já escapamos de um acidente terrível no Japão. Aquilo foi sorte.
