I genuinely can’t tell if European food is so shit that they glaze the trashiest US food they can find or if they’re just engagement farming. Cane’s isn’t that good.
Just remember, for every moralfagging “third-wayist” Christian, there’s a Christian patriot putting libtards in crystals for eternity and deporting everyone third-worlder he sees.
The “religious” and “insiders” of the modern age aren’t Christians. They’re sodomites and Satanists. To say “Erm, Jesus rebuked the Pharisees too!” as if we haven’t heard that argument before, ignores the fact that he called all sinners to repentance. There’s the body of Christ (the repentant sinners) and the world (literal sodomites, transvestites, and abortionists). To say “Ackshully we should be calling out the Christians because they oppose these people and want to wield power!” is foolish. Jesus also said “If anyone should cause one of these little ones to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were tied around his neck and he was thrown into the sea.” The world is literally trying to kill and rape our children, but sure, don’t wage a culture war! Because then, we’re no better than they are! For the sake of my daughter, I refuse to adopt this mindset. I am not saying “KILL ALL UNBELIEVERS” or that we can force faith in Christ. I am saying that we can, and must, enforce our morality as rule of law, as this country did for centuries.
Jesus rebuked both the Pharisees and Sadducees for their hypocrisy. He also called all sinners to repentance. We should rightly condemn sin, especially when it is promoted as righteous before our children. We should take institutions and prohibit many of these sins. We cannot force faith. We can prevent certain sins from taking root. This was the view of the Founding Fathers, the Christian Princes of Europe, the Reformers, and far far more.
Your entire argument hinges on the notion that a corrupt body of Pharisees run our country/culture. It isn’t Pharisees. It’s Baal worshippers and the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah.
@osucowboytc Among anyone pushing for liberalizing and subversive elements literally anywhere. The only time we’ve made any headway in rolling back some of the degeneracy that’s plagued our country is when people got involved in politics and took part in the culture war.
He called people to repentance and faith. I don’t see how doing the same for unbelievers and calling out cultural rot, and even enforcing laws which prohibit such behavior (which we did until like 15 minutes ago), is in anyway ungodly or un-Christlike. Refusing to fight is how we’ve gotten here in the first place.
You act as though the two aren’t overlapping. Culture comes from the Latin word for worship. A nation’s culture is what a nation worships. It can have a pagan culture or a Christian one. Letting our enemy win on this front is not winning nor is it furthering the Gospel in our country.
@osucowboytc If you’ll recall Timothy died protesting an idolatrous procession proclaiming the Gospel and speaking against the culture of the time. He died waging a culture war, if you will.
@osucowboytc I thought you said not to fight a culture war? Your view is incredibly novel and not historical within the history of the church, especially considering the church fought actual wars for the brethren.
