Feels like a post on Alkanes is due. Ecosystem has been heating up- less hype but lots of build. Here's what's on my mind in terms of recent events and what's coming:

- @oylwallet AMM looking sick- check it out. You can mint bUSD very smoothly and begin trying out their pools etc.

- $DIESEL claim went well for me. Up to 70% has been claimed thus far. There's a short window for claiming (1 week I think) and all unclaimed is rolled over into Season 2

- @AirheadFun airheads are confirmed as having a key role to play in Oyl/Diesel season 2. They seem to have reached a floor of $250 so now could be a great time to get some and begin accumulating XP. I saw a bedridden at a very reasonable price too 👀

- @0xBunzy and @hathbanger are rumoured to be shipping Alkamon soon. Could really hit big if they take over the Bitcoin zeitgeist again like they did with @Alkamistbtc with $MIST mint. For this, make sure you are accumulating $MIST and $DUST at these still reasonable prices. Also make sure you are farming Aura

Last thing I wanted to check was whether Alkanes will be represented at the BTC summit @taggaOyl sorry if I have missed it.

Here’s some rambling thoughts on Alkanes for anyone who cares:

I still believe BTC DeFi is going to be a major narrative this cycle. It’s a sexy sounding narrative, and fundamentally, DeFi on the worlds most secure blockchain makes sense

For this to happen at scale, you need L1 programmability (even for something as simple as issuing major stables like USDT) - which means Runes and Ordinals aren’t going to be major players here

So that leaves us with 3 likely options:

1. BRC 2.0
2. Arch
3. Alkanes

I’m bullish on all 3 for various reasons.

But Alkanes is the only fully L1, utxo native option. It’s also already live and continually shipping major innovation. Their community has had incredible energy and their devs cracked while other ecos have been crashing out.

And as much as people want to paint all VCs as evil, I actually LIKE that this ecosystem is well-connected and well-funded (I know, call me crazy). Arthur Hayes, Udi, etc I think it’s completely fine if not bullish that they’re invested. This is the dumbest fud surrounding the ecosystem

I also like that Alkanes don’t have the emotional baggage that Runes do, while still being very technically similar to them. This could allow for a seamless evolution from Runes to Alkanes, and perhaps market participants will be more optimistic on a rebranded, revamped successor to Runes

While people have been fading Alkanes, they just shipped a fully onchain AMM. They are laying some very smart groundwork that would allow BTC DeFi to flourish, and it’s not hopium, it’s live and you can go play around in the early stages of it right now

I will continue monitoring and DCAing this ecosystem closely

小图片可以装逼混文化圈子，brc20地推模式玩挺好，Runes协议全球化做得好最近 $mim $lobo 跟着 $dog 上了kraken交易所，连runecoin都跟着涨了一波。

烷烃和符文的dex一直有进展，我看MagicEden，DotSwap，Oyl amm交易体验已经不错了
