@SantaCruzMETRO I’ve been waiting @ucsc bookstore stop for over an hour. Not enough space on busses for rush hour and busses running 20+ min late means I either couldn’t on a bus or missed one while waiting at the other stop for a late arrival.

@unspooled I just wanted to make one correction on the Halloween episode. The media has really mythologized the Jonestown massacre. There were a number where of people that were involuntarily poisoned (mainly elderly and children) and there were survivors.

Last year the Time website published an article about the 2005 play written by David Dower. It goes into the challenges David experienced researching, writing, and preforming a play centering the voices of the Jonestown survivors.

BTW @MBTA I was lucky enough to have the time (and physical ability) to walk to a bus stop that would get me to where I needed to go. I even walked through the Public Garden. I saw someone fall through some thin ice and thought to myself, “at least my shoes are dry.

Oh! @MBTA I overheard someone ask the one of the helpful guides when the next train was arriving and they said it was a power outtge. I would have loved it if an announcement was made on social media or the website. Or just have an employee make an announcement at the platform.
