@portybooks are hosting an exciting author event open to children and families. The event is with author Elle McNicol and is all about her book, Like a Charm (aimed at 9-12 year olds)

Last week Primary 2 found a book in class and later that week a letter from Mr Peabody inviting them to a mysterious room which turned our to be the brand new Brunstane Library.
Mrs Glancy read us a story in the library and we had fun exploring!
We can’t wait to go back.

Primary 2/3 will have P.E with Mrs Niven every Friday! We will not be getting changed into our full P.E kits but you may wish to send your child to school in sports clothes (joggers or shorts, T-Shirt and trainers or soft shoes) on Fridays🏃‍♀️🏃

We are delighted that @PortyBooks have given us these wonderful new books from the Jhalak Prize @jhalakprize, meaning we have a greater diversity of authors represented in our library. The Jhalak Prize celebrates BAME writers and we are delighted to now have a more diverse stock.
