On Feb 10, "Cine Rights" event was held in Tunis, showcasing short films from #Libya and #Tunisia, highlighting #humanrights issues and a panel discussion followed.

This project was implemented by @LibyaFilm and Shashat Association with the support of @ActforHope.

Under Culture Connects US programme, we are pleased to announce a new partnership with British Council Libya to create and develop a new modern platform that supports and connects those who work in the cinema field outside and inside the country.

Rahmani will share her knowledge and experience with the trainees in order to help them write screenplays that document and address the current situation in Libya.

We're pleased to welcome Nihad Rahmani, the trainer who will deliver the Screenwriting Workshop for Beginners.

Nihad Rahmani is a Tunisian screenwriter and filmmaker with a professional master's degree in visual arts from the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts of Gabes.

Rahmani has participated in many screenwriting workshops and residencies, and some of her works were screened in local and international festivals.

Rahmani's film "Between Her Folds" was awarded first prize in the first edition of Gabes Cinema Fen Festival.
