@Spidey_pte Damn, so Back in Black was the closest Peter has gotten to his Last Stand. And with how May was dying and his promise to Fisk, he would've have the Last Stand if OMD didn't happened. I don't know what the writers would've done, but I'd rather see that than a deal with the devil.
@iniemohk "Neptune's Crown! This is Shell City! Pat, we did make it!"
"Yeah, I guess we did..."
"We did alright, for a couple of goofballs..."
"I'M A GOOFY GOOBER, YEAH!"
"YOU'RE ALL GOOFY GOOBERS, YEAH!"
"WE'RE ALL GOOFY GOOBERS, YEAH!"
"GOOFY, GOOFY, goobers, goobers... yeah..."
@FanAkko I get why people are like that. I always wondered in the comics, where were the Avengers and X-Men when Galactus first showed up, because it's never explained. I get Spidey can't do jack, but Earth's Mightiest Heroes couldn't help out, or explain to the FF that that they're busy?
@MaryJaneWAPson To say that 616 needs to be rebooted is to tarnish why Marvel has its fan base, that anything from 1961 is still canon to the universe and that continuity needs to be preserved.
To follow up on it, it only takes one issue to undo OMD. No reboots, no new universes, just one issue
@MaryJaneWAPson While I do like Peter being a photographer and a scientist, I liked him as a teacher.
I do like Miles, and I also like Peter to have kids too. Can’t we have both cakes?
Clone saga is not underrated, it’s trash with some good stuff sprinkled in it.

@EPH_00@KT2004tm Wait, they made Flash a PE teacher, but not when Peter was a teacher during the JMS run? Unless it’s in the Paul Jenkins run on Spectacular, I didn’t get a chance to read that yet.
@ArtsMandrew Honestly, I liked early Ultimate Universe than what it became. The Fantastic Four were struggling with debt on the Baxter Building as Reed Richards is a renowned, 30-something year old scientist, Hulk is green and on the run from the army, and the X-Men keep themselves hidden.
@planet51fandom Gwen would probably be like, "As much as I hate him, don't give him that satisfaction, Peter."
Flash, though? "DO IT! KILL THAT MOTHERF#$&ER!!! WHUPP HIS GREEN LITTLE ASS, PETE! DO IT!!!"
@NoEndZone2 In-universe, they weren't, they were still the guys you called to save the world. But in the 90s to 00s, they just couldn't sell the Avengers. People just wanted to buy Spider-Man, X-Men, and Hulk. It was books like the Ultimates and Civil War that made people pay attention.
@7Spideycomics I mean, technically? A LOT of the heavy lifting is from the Spider Sense, which is why Peter always swings off a wall and not a drone or a pigeon on accident. If he needs to, he CAN manually do it, but he might just hop from rooftop to rooftop and a quick webzip here and there.
@FelipeEmanuelsS And by lesson, I mean Great Power comes with Great Responsibility.
(I swear, I wish you can type more words in a post than just a small paragraph.)
@FelipeEmanuelsS I agree with you that Raimi Peter treated Ben more as a father figure than the other Spider-Men. TASM Peter didn't see Ben that way until it was too late. Sad we never got to see MCU Ben, but if he's anything like MCU May, then he showed Peter the "lesson" rather than said it.
@EdGoonwoman You've got to use him in the jewel heist, where he'll actually upgrade from that heist and keeps getting better each time you use him, yet his % always stays the same.
@ApolloSaturn506@FitMarshmellow For real, dude said he'd eat people if he weren't a zombie. Zombie Pym makes Ultron look like a better version of Hank than he does!
@VinciLostSignal Bro should've just hit the pause button. Don't skip, just pause and get your stuff then, then hit play and enjoy life with your family!
