One of the things I'm working on at the moment is a new recycled greetings card range. I think this guy, taken at Lackford Lakes reserve yesterday is a candidate for a new square card.

As we all wind down to relax over the holidays, here's one last Herdie from this year's calendar. We post out calendars right through the holiday season, and there's still time to order if you don't get one for Chrismas. Next posting day is Monday. Happy Christmas All!
We would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas from all at the Licky Cow Gallery. We have now stopped posting out for a few days, but calendars will be posted from 28th December, and all other orders from early January.
The association between Robins and Christmas is rooted in a number of stories and folk tales. One of the main reasons is that Victorian postmen wore red breasted uniforms and were nicknamed 'robins' so they became associated with robins bringing the Christmas cards!
These Austrian Hungarian white donkeys live beside Austria's largest lake and are important conservation grazers. I especially love the expression on the guy at the end!
Out on the Cumbrian hills this summer. Cattle are always quite curious about the antics of photographers, we don't behave in ways that they normally associate with humans. I'm pretty sure I was lying at this particular animal's feet to take this!
The woodland floor in parts of Buttermere is completely covered in mosses. I assume it's because the area beside the lake and under the fir trees stays damp all year around. The Herdwick Sheep can often be found here on warm days, sheltering under the shade of the trees
As the dark days of winter draw in, it's nice to think that spring will be along soon with newborn calves and lambs. I started off sitting on this little hill to photograph calves, before figuring out that I was actually sitting on their play area and moving off to make room!
There is still time to get your calendars in time for Christmas, we are posting out right up until the 23rd but recommend ordering by tomorrow for Christmas delivery https://t.co/ueYgHGzRcq
The pink flowers adorning many of the images in this year's Puffin Calendar are Sea Thrift, which grows thickly on the cliffs of the Shetland Isles, making some areas seem completely pink from the air, while dry grasses also provide nesting material.
