Hindi pa tapos si Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson. At ngayon, mukhang pati ang ate ni Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano ay nasa radar na.

Sa isang DZBB interview nitong Linggo, August 9, ibinunyag ni Lacson na mayroon umanong ₱4.7 bilyong budget insertion na inuugnay kay Sen. Pia Cayetano sa 2025 General Appropriations Act.

“Sa insertion ng General Appropriations Act nung 2025, meron, I think nasa P4.7 billion. Hindi pa namin na-check kung ilan sa P4.7 billion ang na-implement.”

At hindi ito maliit na numero.

₱4.7 BILLION.
Pero may mahalagang distinction: ang “budget insertion” mismo ay hindi awtomatikong nangangahulugang korapsyon o ilegalidad.

Ang malaking tanong ay kung saan napunta ang pondo, paano ito na-implement, sino ang nag-request, at kung may anomalya sa mga proyekto.

At dito nagiging juicy ang kuwento.

ATE PIA, KASAMA BA SA TAGUIG MONEY TRAIL?
Ayon kay Lacson, kailangang siyasatin pa ang mga dokumento bago masabing may kaugnayan ang mga insertion ni Pia sa umano'y anomalous flood-control projects.

“I hope she had no role [in the anomalous flood control projects], but as for the insertions, she did. I think there is about P4.7 billion of that in the 2025 GAA.”

So malinaw ang caveat ni Lacson: may alegasyon ng insertion, pero wala pa siyang sinasabing napatunayang involvement ni Pia sa anomalous flood-control projects.

At mismong si Lacson ay nagsabing kailangan pa nilang i-check ang implementation ng mga proyekto.

SAMANTALA, KAY ALAN: ₱6.79 BILLION
Mas malaking numero naman ang ibinato ni Lacson laban sa kapatid ni Pia na si Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano.

Ayon sa senator, umabot sa humigit-kumulang ₱6.79 billion ang congressional insertions na iniuugnay kay Alan sa 2025 budget para sa mga proyekto sa Taguig.

Sinabi rin ni Lacson na halos lahat ng mga proyektong ito ay na-implement, habang tinatayang ₱75 million lamang ang hindi naipatupad.

At dito na nagiging mas malaki ang political question: Kung parehong may malalaking budget insertions ang magkapatid, ano ang eksaktong mga proyektong pinondohan ng mga ito?

At higit sa lahat: May anomalya ba sa implementation?

TAGUIG: ₱14.4 BILLION PROJECTS, AT MAY “GHOST” AT DOUBLE FUNDING ALLEGATIONS
Hindi lang numbers ang inilalabas ni Lacson.

Ayon sa kanyang team, umabot sa ₱14.4 billion ang infrastructure projects sa Taguig mula 2020 hanggang 2025. Isinumite na rin ng senador sa Office of the Ombudsman ang documentary at testimonial evidence kaugnay ng mga umano'y anomalya.

Kabilang sa mga alegasyong ipinapa-imbestiga ni Lacson ang:
👉umano'y ghost projects;
👉double appropriations;
👉paggamit ng recycled photos para maningil para sa bagong proyekto;
👉at isang umano'y illegal reclamation project na ipinresenta bilang slope-protection work.

At dahil ang Taguig ay matagal nang political bailiwick ng mga Cayetano, lalong umiinit ang usapin.

PERO HUWAG MUNA MAG-CONVICT SA SOCIAL MEDIA
Mahalagang linawin: mga alegasyon pa lamang ito at hindi pa judicial findings of guilt.

Si Alan Cayetano ay paulit-ulit nang tumatanggi sa ghost-project allegations, tinawag na “malicious” ang mga akusasyon, at nagpahayag na handa siyang harapin ang imbestigasyon.

Samantala, wala pang nakikitang pahayag mula kay Pia Cayetano sa mga pinakahuling alegasyon ni Lacson sa mga source na nasuri.

Kaya ngayon, hindi lang “Alan versus Ping” ang dapat bantayan. Mukhang nagiging “Cayetano family versus Ping Lacson” na ang political battlefield.

Can this quote be aptly applied to the moralising hypocrites of Pia and Allan Peter Cayetano siblings if the findings as revealed by Senator Ping Lacson are proven to be true?

Where will this end for Pia and Allan Peter?

The revelations by Lacson of recent are rewriting history for the Cayetanos knowing that the family were not born rich during the time of their late father, former Senator Renato Cayetano who grew up in a modest, working-class household and had to overcome financial hardships to build his career.

In fact, the late Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile was said by to have helped the elder Cayetano by loaning him P37 million “to help him feed his family” and help set up a law firm that they both co-founded together. This was fiercely debated by both Enrile and Allan Peter Cayetano on the Senate floor not long ago where the late Enrile showed documents to prove his claims.
