We don't have a "climate problem". We have a greed problem. The planet isn't dying, it's being killed. And those killing it have names and boardrooms. #ClimateJustice#StopEcocide
Velshi: You get a whole lot of questions about the Muslim Brotherhood and terrorism and radical Islamism and all this kind of stuff.
El-Sayed: Look, at the end of the day, the whole reason this question is being asked is to insinuate that somehow I have dual loyalties. But I also know that I tread a long history of this. When John F. Kennedy ran for president, he was asked about whether or not his allegiance would be to the Constitution or to the Pope, because he would have been the first Catholic president. And he had to remind people that he wasn’t running to be the first Catholic president. He was running to be the next president of the United States.
I’m not running to be the first anything. I’m running to be the next senator from my state.
Russia is getting a taste of its own medicine.
St. Petersburg and the surrounding Leningrad region came under the largest Ukrainian drone attack, with hundreds of drones targeting critical infrastructure.
According to russian reports the following objects were hit:
The St. Petersburg Oil Terminal.
The VKontakte data center.
The 330 kV Vostochnaya electrical station.
A major cable-stayed bridge in St. Petersburg.
Parts of the region experienced electricity outages and disruptions to water supplies.
For years, russia has systematically attacked Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, oil facilities, and civilian infrastructure, trying to plunge Ukrainian cities into darkness.
Now, the war is increasingly reaching russia’s own critical infrastructure.
Putin wanted to destroy Ukraine’s economy. Instead, he is destroying russia’s economy.
Russia can stop this war at any moment by leaving Ukrainian territory.
This is the HARD TRUTH!
I got it earlier in my own observations, but reading it sealed it. I don't know if this was posted by AOC or if someone else created the post.
Warnock: "Do you agree that ending tax cuts for those earning over $400,000 would help reduce the deficit?"
Bessent: "I don't think so. It would affect a huge number of small business owners..."
Warnock: "What about $1 million?"
Bessent: "I think those are small business owners passing their profits through other entities."
Warnock: "What about those earning over $10 million?"
Bessent: "I think it's important to incentivize them to invest."
Warnock: "What about $1 billion?"
Bessent: "These are the job creators..."
Warnock: "So there's no income level at which you'd support raising taxes?"
Sen. Jon Ossoff (@ossoff) (D-GA) on Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff: "What Jared and Steve are doing right now is negotiating with Putin to sell billions in Russian oil fields and refineries and gas stations to the President's friends."
