The current education needs in south sudan is at stake as 2.8 millions of vulnerable children are out of schools, there is urgent need to address education gaps. RLC is appealing for education partners to wake up for this call.

Deadly cattle raid sparks tensions in Akobo County on 4 February, resulting in the deaths of five men and injuring others. A revenge attack resulted in further casualties. Immediate intervention to address the root causes and prevent further violence is necessary.

In the efforts to increase the availability of learning spaces through community participation in Aweil East County, Northern Bahr El Ghazel State. RLC in partnership with UNICEF conducted community meetings & trained teachers including Education Officers and SMC/PTAs.
