This is what our society fails to comprehend.
If I work as a physical therapist, and I’m good, I’ll make $100,000/yr. And pay $15,000 in taxes. I can see 60 patients per week. But that’s the end of it. No additional tax money, no more patients can get my services. I provide a living for myself and my family.
If I own a practice and employee 10 therapists that each make $100,000, now I’m providing a living for 10 families, and because of my efforts there is now $250,000 in tax revenue.
So why should businesses get taxed more? Why should they even have to pay payroll taxes? My value to society is way more than 10X at this point.
But the vast majority of Americans can’t comprehend that, neither do our congressional representatives.
Jeff Bezos: "If I do my job right, the value to society and civilization from my for-profit companies will be much, much larger than the good that I do with my charitable giving."
That’s something we see a lot of and great results with just a few treatments. Our therapy focuses on skilled manual therapy and advanced modalities:
1. Joint mobilization
2. Shockwave
3. Laser
4. Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (scraping)
5. Dry Needling
6. Cryotherapy
7. Cupping
8. Exercise
9. Aquatic Therapy
Usually after the initial evaluation and treatment we can get your pain to a tolerable and manageable level.
@ShortStackUte Insert whichever team you want, the conference will be judged by how that team does against ND since there are literally no other big matchups left in the conference. It just happens to be BYU that’s playing.
With contractors I don’t pay payroll taxes, liability insurance, workers comp insurance, 401k, health insurance, PTO. If we get slow I don’t have to worry about productivity and paying salaried employees for not working.
Contractors manage themselves. They know the more they work, the more they make. Good ones are incentivized to provide great service because it gives them more work.
They control their destiny.
They own their product.
Good workers should always want to open their own work, take pride in what you provide.
Other people would rather someone assume the risk and rely on their employer to provide for them.
So that’s why contractors make more.
A company laid off 200 people to “reduce costs.”
Three months later they hired contractors to cover the same work.
The contractors cost more per hour.
But apparently it comes from a different budget.
This is why I’ll never understand accounting.
Michigan fans are 50 times more critical and relentless than Utah football fans as a whole.
I think Whittingham and Beck are in for a rude awakening.
I mean, Utah fans were pretty tolerant and forgiving whereas Michigan fans will not be.
Grass not always greener.
