I've always seen Holostars as comrades-in-arms, and I have so many fond memories with all of you, both as coworkers and as a fan. So please let me be a little emotional for a moment.

🦔💨 Temma-senpai, you've always been so kind and thoughtful. After our Mario Kart collab back in 2021, when I was feeling overwhelmed, you checked up on me. It might've seemed like a small thing to you, but it meant a lot to me, and it's a kindness I'll never forget. Thank you for always being such a caring person.

⚙️ Rikka-senpai, your songs have been with me through so many moments. I listen to your originals and covers all the time, and they've always brought me comfort. I do wish I had talked to you more, but even so, I've always admired you a lot. I'm wishing you nothing but the best moving forward.

Regis Altare addresses the Holostars JP announcement in a livestream, asking viewers to "give the Holostars JP boys as much support as they deserve and then some".

Regarding the situation's potential broader impact, he stated, "Man I'm really trying to control my words right now cuz I am not happy... This could happen to Holostars English too. It could".

He compared the recent news to "gravel and rocks" starting to fall, noting that they need to try to "avoid an avalanche" and that fans shouldn't "be surprised if you start seeing cuts from our side too... we're going to have to work 120% from here on out".

Altare also discussed his personal experiences with management, mentioning "years of disappointment" and noting that he built his $40,000 studio "without any help from the company despite how many times I've asked them".

He further stated that he has "suggested many many many many many cost cutting... suggestions," but that management "denied all of them".

He explained his decision to speak openly by saying, "I think you'd rather hear it straight... I could say so much more but let's play Super Battle Golf"
