Russia launched a "Geran-2" drone strike on the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

The "Geran-2" is a Russian version of the Iranian Shahed drone. The SSU has established that some of its components were manufactured in the "Alabuga" special economic zone.
As a result of the attack, the cathedral's roofing, domes, walls, and glass windows were damaged.

The strike has been classified as a war crime.
Russia will be held accountable for all its strikes.

💔 In Kyiv, a mother of two lost her leg while trying to reach shelter in a parking garage during the Russian attack.

According to eyewitness testimony published by UNICEF Ukraine, her 3-year-old son suffered an arm injury, while her 4-year-old child escaped with bruises and scratches.

“We went down to sleep in the parking garage under our building. When explosions suddenly erupted nearby during the night, it turned into a nightmare. Injured people started running in, children covered in blood. While we waited for the ambulance, neighbors provided first aid.

A mother of two lost her leg. Her 3-year-old son had an injured arm, while I tried to calm down and examine her second son — he is only 4 years old. Thankfully, he had no serious injuries, only bruises and scratches.

I hope this wounded woman survives and that her children will be okay,” eyewitness Olena said.

This is what Russia brings into civilian neighborhoods, homes, shelters, and children’s lives.

These are not military targets. These are families trying to survive the night.

W stolicy są zabici, kilkadziesiąt osób są w szpitalach. Atak był tak duży, że zniszczenia są w każdej dzielnicy miasta. Zniszczone w całości zostało Muzeum Czarnobylskie. Poważnie uszkodzone: Filharmonia Narodowa, Biblioteka Narodowa, Narodowe Muzeum Sztuk Pięknych.

Zniszczono wiele budynków w historycznym centrum miasta, w tym także redakcję, z którą współpracowałem.

Morału nie będzie.
