Victoria Tyler, C'22, president of the Photography Club, is being published in the Fall 2021 3Elements Review. The magazine accepts work based on three words given during a submission window, in this case "pocket, hinge and abandon." Victoria's photo relates to the word abandon.
A highlight of the SPARC Festival is distribution of the year's @LightedCorners literary magazine; Tolle Lege, the student journal of theology & philosophy; and Moorings humanities journal. Congratulations to the writers, photographers, artists & editors & their faculty advisors.
Congratulations to Alba Sarria who recently won the Polaris Fiction Contest for her short story "A Bargain." Additionally, Alba also had her short story "Tagalog and Ginger" published by Polaris last month. "Tagalog and Ginger" will appear in Lighted Corner's spring edition.
Meanwhile, in the category of Short Fiction, Elizabeth Busch won first place for her "Between the Playlist and the Gas Pedal." She will be awarded a $500 prize and her work will be published in the Delta Epsilon Sigma journal.
