Hey folks, first time doing this so giving it a whirl! Just launched my Steam curator page Light in the Lobby, honest reviews for my Steam Deck (aka Steam Dad).
Life happened, almost quit gaming entirely... then Valve dropped the Deck. Now I can sneak quick sessions between dad duties without missing a beat.
Goal: Curate games that are fun + run great on Deck (native or tweaked). Helps other busy folks, or anyone bored and looking to play!
First review tomorrow. What's YOUR recent Deck win? ๐ https://t.co/Yl8tIqHXV7 #SteamDeck
I started gaming on PC at about 2000, my dad had gotten Alien VS Predator and before that I didn't even knew PCs could game like that.
Well after that I played a handful of older titles, the original Diablo, Starcraft, AVP 2, Unreal Tournament etc. Barely scratching the surface of PC gaming. Then my best friend brings me this new game that he thought the box looked cool called The Witcher.
This is where we both learned that there are levels to PC gaming. Before "Can it run Crysis" or "Can you run it?" for me it was "can it run The Witcher?"
These past few days I've been going back to games that benchmarked my PC throughout the years and seeing how they perform on the #Steamdeck and although these are more than a decade old at this point these guys still manage to pack a punch!
#NewProfilePic I ainโt got much logo making skills so I thought well I could recreate the idea for the banner pic and slap an anime filter on it ๐ Iโm not that handsome though, but thanks anime filter Iโm flattered
@StormslayerDev Just tried this bad boy on my steam deck, so far running perfectly, the only hiccup seems to be that I can't get the bindings to switch to controller so I get the keyboard input prompts. Other than that it feels great to be replaying! Thanks!
