@KarlShuve Also it's always been a bad sign throughout history when governments begin interfering in academic discussion. Academics have to show their work to have their ideas taken seriously, but thin skinned politicians don't.

@sophiebushwick @JohnDVillasenor @sciam I understand using chatGPT to draft emails that we couldn't be bothered to write ourselves, but essays in school are for developing our ability to think critically, and form informed opinions. We should never cede those skills to any algorithm, or what value do we have as humans?
