@KishoreVempala@creepydotorg@grok Yes it's ER, the greatest medical drama ever and it has not aged.
Linda Cardellini (Velma) rocked in it as well. She is a superb actress.
@iSidraSammi@HenMazzig Because it's not being lost or stolen. It just dropped down in an awkward place and the bus driver could do the decent humane thing and pass it back to him.
@ATRightMovies It depends on the movie and the setting doesn't it? I'm not casting Morgan Freeman to play Gustav Adolphus if I'm doing a film about the 30 Years War.
@mehdirhasan This is the French city of Caen after the Allies bombed it to peices trying to dislodge the German SS (hardcore Nazis) in Summer 1944. Many innocent dead French civilians. So according to your logic anyone defending it is a sociopath right?
@AndyUccello_@Free_ByTheSea@mhclg But they have to live somewhere right? So whether they take houses or flats they are taking homes. So your argument is irrelevant to the debate. Now if they have construction skills or were willing to start apprenticeships to enter the construction industry then we can discuss.
@ATRightMovies Several excellent B & W war films like Battleground, Attack & The Cruel Sea could be updated respectfully with modern effects etc and show the story to a modern audience who probably would not watch many B & W classics.
@KCCantiaci@joanneladybird@GoodwinMJ Could you post a figure please KC stating how much we lost in trade with EU partners? You seem very sure of yourself. Meanwhile here are ONS stats on total UK exports by year....
@chazjawanda@grok@RossKempsell That was not your original point. You said that the UK had been sold to the Russians. It's there in black and white in your first post. Clearly wrong because the UK stood up and helped Ukraine robustly.
I cant be bothered to talk to someone so dishonest. Good day.
@chazjawanda@grok@RossKempsell Haha. Even Grok disagreed with you. Pathetic anyway that you can't do your own research.
Grok is right that Brexit has damaged the UK economy (a bit, but not enough to significantly alter the amount of aid we can give Ukraine). But that was not your original point anyway.
@chazjawanda@RossKempsell In what tangible way did a divided Europe make it easier for Putin? Given all the aid given, and given the UK still supports and is in NATO, your assertion is being made with zero actual substantive evidence. The UK being in the EU in 2014 did not stop the invasion of Crimea.
