I strongly condemn the heinous attack carried out by the Al-Shabaab terrorist group at the Godka Jilicoow facility in Mogadishu. This cowardly act underscores the persistent threat these hostile groups pose to the peace and stability of the Somali people.

I extend my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in this attack, and I pray for the swift recovery of all those injured.

It is imperative that our people and security forces unite their efforts to safeguard our nation, protect our citizens, and prevent terrorist attacks aimed at undermining Somalia’s statehood and peace.
