@jdgtranen The irony right now is that if you're going to have a DAF and want max flexibility, you'd probably do best keeping it in a commercial (e.g. Fidelity), since Fidelity has no other motivation than profit making, has yet to regulate expenditure according to non-capitalist "values."

@jdgtranen DAFs can look like private fdns, just housed in pub charities and able to gain benefits as such. but, in fact, the housing org--a Jewish fed, community fdn, or commercial--has legal authority. once you put your $ in a DAF, it's the property of that org. a tax game until it isn't
