@singingbirth It's mostly a thing in the West, I always roll my eyes at it because it usually comes from parents who raise incompetent children who are usually treated like they're mentally challenged
@JulianaLung I saw this, it felt like a gut punch. 😞
Pair this ignorance with sleep training, daily daycare abandonment etc & you realize that lib moms are some of the most vile creatures on earth, brainwashed out of their motherly instincts, acting like monsters towards their own babies…
@JulianaLung Also, most people don’t allow their babies or toddlers to consume any salt because that’s the recommendation from doctors, which I think is absolute retardation lol
@JulianaLung My 19 mo toddler has loved medium rare steak ever since I’ve started solids, and loves eggs meat & fruit in general. Dislikes most vegetables. I think a lot of people struggle because of the subpar foods they feed their babies from the get go, + lack of cooking skills
@MatthewTheStoat I think liver is a great food, extremely nourishing. Have been eating it since childhood since it’s such a common food in Romanian culture.
I think liver supplements are an outrageous scam
@MatthewTheStoat I go for chicken liver - washed so there’s no blood, fried in ghee on a low flame with a lid on, so it retains tenderness. Goes well with mashed potatoes
If you go for beef liver & find the taste too strong, you can soak it in milk for 1-2 hours in the fridge before preparing.

Also, aside from this, if you haven’t already, I warmly recommend finding the best lactation consultant in your area because it can really make a difference in your breastfeeding journey if you ever need support.
Best of luck and blessings 💕
@enigmasum Have you heard about the Mt Capra formula? If not, you might want to look into it. It was a popular diy formula kit until the FDA got involved and pulled it from the market because of ONE case where the parents made wrong substitutes and their kid got anemia.
