An anonymous person sent me screenshots about Rudolf's server and I have to say that it doesn't look good at all due to the concerning people and weird things inside the server.
In this thread I will share every piece of information that was shared with me privately.
@The_Wall_001@Elite_4_J Honestly, Ground/Bug makes more sense then Bug/Dragon for Flygon. As long as it keeps its Ground type, I’d have not many problems with Flygon getting a different secondary type.
@Elite_4_J Just because a Pokémon is cute doesn’t mean it should be a fairy type! Look at Grimsnarl and Hatterene, they are both a great example of what fairy types should be. Also, look at Flygon’s dex entries. Its type makes perfect sense.
@DonkinDo Yeah, like when restricted legendaries are back again, a player who relies a lot on say Sneasler or Kingambit may have quite a bit of trouble.
Honestly, I don’t like this ideology. I think formats are better if there’s like at least some restricted legendaries, like 2 at most on each team. To say restricted legendaries shouldn’t be used is not true. This also applies to Paradox Pokémon, I think they’re a great addition.
In fact, the Fairy or Normal types would suit Luxray more, (Fairy due to light, and Normal due to seeming quite normal in my opinion.) but I think it’s better that it’s pure Electric. Even Azumarill’s Fairy typing makes sense, because of rabbits in mythology, and the Easter Bunny
Is that what being a Dragon-type enjoyer has made me be? An obsessive freak who cares so much about whether a Pokémon’s type fits them or not based on their dex entries. So, for example, Alolan Exeggutor makes sense to be a Dragon type cause of its dex entry.
It’s not just based on design. The dex entries make up a lot of Pokémon’s personalities, and behaviours. It also explains their typing, like how Flygon is called “The Desert Spirit”. This also applies to Luxray, it isn’t really befitting of the Dark type.
If there’s a Pokémon that seems like a Bug/Dragon type, it’s Yanmega. The Flying type makes sense on it though. A change I would love on Flygon though is a change to its ability in order to make it something about sandstorms!
