COMPOSERS: looking for a composer to collaborate on a new children’s opera! A mixture of composition and arrangement: Paid position, funded by Arts Council England.
I'd love to connect with some lovely new artists on this interdisciplinary operatic adventure! Get in touch!
@RoseHComposer @MichaelTJenkins Hello! Yes this is me! This may have been filled now, but shall I drop you an email? Thank you so much for thinking of me @RoseHComposer
I'm consistently inspired by the constant resilience and creativity of so many people who make up this industry and salute these organisations for making it through the darkest of times. Enjoy opening your doors and here's to all being together again....
A slight 'we got there' moment.
Sat on the train en route to @WNOtweet with the incredible Emma Jenkins, whilst looking at twitter which is filled with the news of wonderful companies opening their doors to audiences ( including the amazing @operahollandpk and @lfotweet )
@laura_attridge @CharlotteMarlow @MezzoRosie Yes, this was a tentative one! I think I'm just so predisposed to be like "GET LAURA, SHE'S GREAT" anytime anyone needs anything. Anyway - everybody as they were.....
@kategolledge@afsanehgray @hannykha If you want industry insight and kindness galore definitely head to @kategolledge. (She also started a brilliant directors group this year and is just an incredibly generous and talented director).
So lucky to have been a part of this wonderful project! Amazing collaboration between @uhbwNHS & @CultureWeston featuring some truly incredible people! @BirdgirlUK@GOSH_Arts@Alan_Measles just to name a few... #hospitalarts
@MirandaCromwell@RoseHComposer Such a lovely tweet!🌟 I’m a director working across theatre and opera! Would love to connect (was chatting with @RoseHComposer about Dead Equal the other week actually)!

It only occurred to me really last minute that we won't be able to sing at the funeral tomorrow...Obviously it's for the best and it's such a small thing, yet I've such a disproportionate (possibly displaced) sadness at the absence of music and the ability to sing together.
