While I'm here (and I know @LimerickBad has been highlighting this sort of codology like @fixlimerickbus has been doing for buses), Limerick has a real affliction of taxis and dumptrucks parking across pedestrian crossings.
All part of the shoddy parking enforcement.
After hearing a clattering, saw this van (with seemingly nobody in it) rolling over the tables and chairs on Grand Parade with a few people running from it. 10mins later and still nobody has claimed it or seemed to bat an eyelid? Ridiculous!
This is a slipway where a lot of the S&R boats are launched from.
Parked under the no parking sign, us there anything more ignorant.
This was Sunday morning, O'Callaghan Strand had loads of parking spaces available
@LimerickCouncil
We are very supportive of @milk_market however when people abandon cars in front of entrance/exits it becomes difficult @GardaTraffic@LimerickCouncil. The first car is blocking the main entrance to an apartment complex.
Cars parked in the taxi rank - regular occurrence after hours
Of all the vehicles using the bay none were taxis, yet a taxi was partially blocking the junction on Sarsfield St/O'Connell St
@LimerickCouncil
Hard to beat this for bad parking, lane if traffic blocked and a pedestrian crossing blocked within eye sight of Henry St Garda station
Proof that illegal parking is generally ignored rather than punished
