It might be sunny and dry at the moment, but this path in the Brook Field that runs from Granville Road to Detillens (and is the extension of the Limpsfield Way) was getting seriously boggy again in the rain!
Thanks to Evergreen Gardening / Will Bistram for a job well done!
Another rickety old stile replaced by a much more accessible kissing gate on footpath 71 up at Grub Street, #LimpsfieldCommon. Hopefully making it much easier for walkers of all ages to benefit from our wonderful countryside. Thanks to Andy at Conservation & Access.
Clearance of Pebble Hill Footpath. Having cleared and re-widened this path (that runs between the village and #Limpsfield Infants School) a few years ago, we have again cleared the leaves, ivy and undergrowth and will be looking forward to seeing all the daffodils soon.
Happy New Year!
Snow is forecast for this weekend and during the week, so please be very careful when out and about. Please see our website for locations of grit boxes around the parish, gritting routes and advice on snow and ice clearance. Take care. ❄️ https://t.co/7XDrD5Md5v
This weekend, the #M25 is closed in both directions between junctions 10 at Wisley and 11 at Chertsey - until 6am on Monday 15 July. Please avoid the area if at all possible or follow diversions. Be wary of using Sat Nav as it may not be updated.

Limpsfield Parish Council has been very happy to fund the replacement of the bench at the top of the high street. The old one had fallen to pieces, so now walkers and cyclists have a lovely new one to park their bottoms for a quick rest before heading up Pebble Hill!
Thank you to everyone who came along to the Annual Parish Meeting last Thursday.
The presentation outline for the evening and the Annual Report FY23/24 are on the LPC website - Annual Parish Meeting page.

Detillens Lane and other local residents have funded and planted five trees on Tidy's Green, on the A25 at the end of Detillens Lane. These are English native trees, three Crab Apples and two Rowan, very good for biodiversity and will make a lovely addition to the space.

Great to see Surrey County Council's guys out on Limpsfield High Street clearing out the gullies. A job very well done and will help to keep the water in the drains, which goes a long way to help protect the historic buildings in our Conservation Area...

A common source of dispute between neighbours and complaints to the council is overgrown hedges obstructing the pavement or highway.
If any part of your hedge borders a pavement or footpath, it is YOUR responsibility to keep it maintained and trimmed back.
It's so rewarding to be able to make a positive difference to people's lives and that is part of what the Parish Council can do on a local level, for our immediate community.
We are very proud to support the Chart Coffee Mornings at St Andrew's Hall. #limpsfield#limpsfieldchart
