First visit of the autumn to the Lincs coast, and the first Yellow-browed Warbler under the belt. Other migrants very thin on the ground - a Redstart was best of the rest. Hoping a return visit in the middle of next week may offer more…
A very windy afternoon @RSPBFrampton with the Buff-breasted Sandpiper feeding with 14 Ringed Plovers, several Yellow Wagtails & Meadow Pipits & a Wheatear. @Lincsbirding@Natures_Voice@BTO_Lincs
Visits to the patch have been very limited recently since becoming a Dad, but my first new #PWC2026 points in 3 months today with Tree Pipit and Lesser Whitethroat at Bardney Pits.
Good vismig with an Osprey and lots of mipits / hirundines south.

The Freiston wryneck was so very confiding and performed for the onlookers. It spent all of its time on the ground scoffing the local ants, so no perched shots for me on this occasion.

Yesterday @jkyles32 and I visited RSPB Freiston Shore in Lincolnshire, our target bird was the Wryneck which had turned up recently, It certainly did not disappoint, what a stunning bird and a pleasure spending time with It.
