Good luck 🖤🔥
When the discussion is about easy mode it’s always “let them play how they want, it’s not affecting you” but now people are modding out the timer in Blood of the Dawnwalker there’s an uproar.
They’re not modding your game, who cares. 🤷🏻♂️🤣
Crazy that you only repeated what you've been saying and don't address what I'm saying.
I already agreed with you that Kojima's output is the most ACCURATE to to the 3D model especially with the way DLSS 5 applies it's enhancements. I took issue with your initial description that the image is less realistic based on how it looks as if that LOOK couldn't have easily been achieved on Kojima's final look also. His CHOICES are what achieved that look with the lighting he chose as you said but that DLSS 5 final look doesn't make it automatically look LESS realistic as others have already posted images of those actors with more details present in their face than Kojima's look outputs thus proving the final result is a stylistic one, not a realism one.
Literally what I said here.
And I'll add, you shifted the goalposts so you can land on a "I was right" standpoint.
Good tactic by the way but I've been arguing your original statement all this time.
You made a "look" judgement in the beginning and that's been my argument that the "look" Kojima achieved isn't less realistic than the DLSS 5 one as they are both stylistic choices. Yes, Kojima's final look is more accurate to the final render based on using data that is present but it could have LOOKED just like the other image based on what he wanted to achieve.
Lack of realism to me means that there's no way an actual movie could look like that DLSS 5 result, hence, it would be "unrealistic". But I'm saying it could all based on artist intent.

And I'm going to add here that there could be a possible "talking past each other" moment here.
I believe that what you might be arguing is that just the fact that DLSS 5 works the way that it works, it adding details that are most likely not in the render makes it "not realistic" because Norman doesn't have X wrinkle there in real life.
I'm arguing the final look of either image could be realistic based on the artist's final intent and that Kojima's final look isn't one that is inherently MORE realistic because of results that are close to the lighting he applied, it's simply the look he desired and the final look that DLSS 5 has produced here could just as well been his final look if that's what he deemed because both looks are realistic.
