On most days, we can probably find something to worry about unless we choose not to, and I have learned that every day I spend worrying is a day I waste and one I will never get back. #JoyceQuote
Hey @PatrickMahomes @BrittanyLynne @Chiefs 1 of my students is a huge fan! He was just diagnosed w/ leukemia over thanksgiving weekend. He was supposed to be at your game on Sun. Unfortunately he was prepping for surgery instead. Can you send him some encouragement? #jackstrong
There are two ways we can live our lives: the right way or the wrong way. And there are two foundations we can build on: the rock or sinking sand. We can live either a happy and holy life or a miserable and unholy life. The choice is up to us.Choose God’s way.
When I became a Christian, I signed up to follow Jesus. People have let me down at times, but Jesus never has. He has never forsaken me, disappointed me, or abandoned me.
He will do the same for you.
Today you are living one of two ways. You are living either the right way or the wrong way. You are living the happy Christian life, the joyful life, the life with purpose and meaning, or you are living the miserable, empty life separated from God.
Every one of us will utter our last words someday. It doesn’t matter whether you are an rock singer or a business executive, a world leader or a gang member, or someone famous or unknown. We all will take our final breath.
What if yours was today? Where would you spend eternity?
Have you lived your life well so far? Or are you squandering it in an elusive search for happiness and forgetting God in the process? Instead of finding happiness, maybe you’re finding misery. That’s because we find true happiness in knowing God through Jesus Christ.
We will find the true happiness that we seek in a relationship with God. The happy life is the life with God. So don’t settle for some cheap imitation this world offers. Pursue the real thing.Follow Jesus Christ!
