Years ago my son came home. He said the kids were being abused at school. I was so concerned until I found out he thought having to read poetry was the abuse. I told him poetry can do many things even tell a story. He was doubtful especially if he would like any poetry story

Yesterday I had a branch block done on my spine to help with the pain. I planned to take it easy today. Red wanted out but Marley paused at the door and out ran the cat. I often have to use a walker to walk but am doing my best to keep going. I panicked and grabbed for the cat

In the nearing darkness of the night I felt the a quiet all around me. I saw the beauty before me. I felt my heart fill with peace. I knew I was truly thankful for the day I had lived, the night and peace to come and the hope for the future and a new day
