@SouthBostonKev@DoctorTurtleboy Especially when it was right at the beginning! They were just taking attendance and hadn't even got to him yet! He hadn't even said 'here'.
@GoAdkAlice65@DoctorTurtleboy Melanie Little talked a bit about a filing she's become aware of that has a whole host of defendants, including Brian A, Judge Krup and Judge Gildea!
@HappyDeeDee75@gogoo35@ShakeLS Maybe she was just the only one to do all 3? It's a lot to ask of her aides or security to do it if they didn't want to do the training required!
@Delina81345774@Stanissbar@SussexHenryVIII@SageKnowsAll I've never heard of anyone wearing padding for a normal hike. She wasn't rock climbing. There might be a bit of scrambling on these peaks but otherwise don't need equipment.
@DebraHatfield1@SussexHenryVIII She's wearing ordinary hiking gear and a hat. Most people hiking are more concerned by their own progress than who other people are on the trail.
@roguebrogue6@DarkTylenol@dieworkwear@Jennife01646883 Depends what you're measuring. The country ranked as 'happiest' isn't also the one considered 'most influential' or highest GDP. You'd have to average out numerous categories.
@JustBNice88@SussexHenryVIII@ShakeLS She hiked. These mountains can be walked without any climbing equipment. She just had poles.
It's also been super hot in the UK so she won't have been particularly cold. And these mountains aren't high enough to be considered 'high altitudes'
@danny5fuu@supertanskiii If you were 'perfectly fine' working outdoors in mid-30s temps a d high humidity this week in the UK, you should see a doctor. Either because you're a medical marvel or have lost sensitivity! This weather has NOT been 'perfectly fine' for human bodies. 🙄
@GregShephard1@GerrySamuels12 Except, people did *not* just get on with it.
Unless you're accusing the journalists of printing lies?
You're saying that there were in fact no strikes? No increase in theft, no flight delays or cancellations at Heathrow, no problems with rail lines, no schools closing early?
@GerrySamuels12@Seanchuckle@benonwine Bristol got to 88F, record temp for June!
That's 31°C. I feel like Bristol might have reached higher than that since then. 🤔
@marttheman57@shesbonky Ok, so if it doesn't hurt, it's not as bad as something that does hurt.
And since men are natirally stronger than women, your argument must be that men's actions against women are worse, because they hurt more. 🤷♀️ So men are more violent, because their actions hurt more.
@marttheman57@shesbonky But the strength difference is a double-edged sword. The average man can quite easily overpower the average woman, but also there are men who will patronise and infantilise a woman who gets angry and call it 'cute', treating our natural difference like a joke.
@marttheman57@Dead0nArrival7@shesbonky What is your point? We're all saying that THE MAJORITY of violence is done by men. A significant majority according to current stats.
Male violence against women is called an 'epidemic' in some places. No one is saying women are never violent. That's just a different convo
