Sorry for the poor quality but unexpected visitors to Black Lake this morning (6.10am. A male and female Shoveler (only got male) Very skittish and left after a few minutes

Bollin Valley Partnership Rangers and volunteers and staff from the @MerseyRivers were working at Lindow Common SSSI, in Wilmslow, recently. As part of the ongoing heathland restoration and management they were removing the birch and willow seedlings from the heathland.
