I believe you should be able to get cancer treatment even if you are poor.
I believe you should be able to go to a doctor even if you lost your job and insurance.
I believe you should be able to go to the emergency room without receiving an outrageous bill.
Yes. Lets protest the #PrimariesSoWhite though we just had a Black President who told black folks to pull up their pants, stop being thugs while he pretended to drink toxic water which permanently damaged Flint babies to protect a White Republican Governor who should be in jail.
By far @PeteButtigieg performed the worst at the press conference held at the CADEM Convention this weekend. I asked him about his wealthy donors & he answered with platitudes. Not only that but he also got booed at the CA Young Democrats for his public option plan.
How can you defend a system where 87 million are uninsured or underinsured?
Where we pay the highest prices in the world for prescriptions?
Where tens of thousands die yearly because they can't afford to see a doctor?
You can’t defend it. Medicare for All now.
In 1965 the CEO-to-worker pay ratio was 20:1.
Last year, it was 287:1.
Workers aren't struggling because they're not working hard enough.
They're struggling because more and more wealth is going to the people on top.
We're going to reverse that and give workers a raise.
My God - this whole thread is astonishingly defensive. And tone deaf. I think someone has missed the entire point of what it means to be down and out in America. And what it means to have found a champion. #Bernie2020
I want to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center for the excellent care that they provided. After two and a half days in the hospital, I feel great, and after taking a short time off, I look forward to getting back to work.
Hello everybody! We’re in Las Vegas. I’m feeling so much better.
Thank you for all of the love and warm wishes that you sent me.
See you soon on the campaign trail.
The climate crisis is not only the single greatest challenge facing our country. It is also our single greatest opportunity to build a more just and equitable future, But we must act immediately.
Here is my promise: when we are in the White House we will fight to make sure that no one in America goes bankrupt because they got sick. We will #EliminateMedicalDebt. And we have a plan to do that.
This is astonishing.
1 million donors have given to our campaign, faster than any in history. We've now received more than 2.5 million contributions.
We are the only campaign with more support than Trump. We will defeat him and build a country that works for all of us.
There is this weird phenomenon where the mainstream will acknowledge @BernieSanders created or championed all of the innovative ideas that are being discussed in Democratic Party right now and then still turn around and say he obviously can’t be the candidate. Makes no sense.
This is cruel, outrageous and a blatant attempt to force the union into submission. It is the type of corporate greed that the American people are sick and tired of. I say to GM: Restore the health care benefits that your workers have earned and deserve.
People are sick and tired of a rigged system where the top 1% gets massive tax breaks while 1 in 6 U.S. teachers work second jobs.
We are not going to take it any more.
We are going to raise teacher pay to $60,000 a year and invest in education nationwide.
