Agriculture is Ohio’s oldest & most significant industry, and we’ll never forget to take care of our farmers. Great time at the sheep show at the Pickaway County fair tonight. 🐑 🐑
Dr. Lockdown pushed to ban county fairs in 2020, even as BLM protests continued on the streets. When she was directed to reopen the county fairs, she quit her job & claimed that was the “final straw.” We won’t let a socialist tyrant ruin our state again. Great visit to the Pickaway County Fair tonight—they remember what happened & will never forget.
Requiring photo ID to vote is a common-sense measure that most Americans support, across demographic & partisan lines. Whether or not Congress passes the SAVE Act this year, Ohio voters have an opportunity to VOTE YES in November to enshrine the photo ID requirement in our state constitution. This constitutional amendment also enables Ohio lawmakers to expressly apply the photo ID requirement to ALL ballots, including mail-in ballots (which I would sign into law and which most Ohioans support). I strongly support this constitutional amendment, as does President Trump and as do most Ohio lawmakers. I’m calling on leaders and candidates in both political parties to stand for common sense & join me in voting YES in November.
Amy Acton says she had to shut down *outdoor* county fairs because there was “no science for it.” But she was totally fine allowing crowd-packed BLM protests to roil the streets at the same time. The only difference between Amy Acton & the Democrat Socialists elected in NY is that at least they’re honest about where they stand.
Amy Acton is the Ohio version of the Democratic Socialist wave. She wanted to shut down Ohio’s rural county fairs while allowing crowded BLM riots to rage on our city streets. Never again in Ohio.
Our country is stronger when state leaders work with the federal government to combat Medicaid fraud, crush crime, and end the poverty trap with sensible work requirements. We’ll show the country how it’s done in Ohio soon.
We’re going to turn the American Dream into an American Reality in Ohio. That starts with incentivizing upward economic mobility & wage growth, rather than penalizing it.
Turns out most everyday Ohioans agree with us: government-issued photo ID should be a requirement to vote in elections. Period. Time to vote YES on the constitutional amendment in November.
In 2020, Amy Acton had no problem with massive BLM protests in Ohio’s cities - but then she worked to ban county fairs in rural communities. I told @VivekGRamaswamy how we successfully fought to keep our Pickaway County Fair open…then she quit. #VoteVivek
Love our county fairs, love the positive energy. Dr. Lockdown tried to shut them down. We’ll never let her (or those who behave like her) get near the levers of power again.
Marietta was the site of the Northwest Ordinance & symbolizes what makes America great. We’re going to bring new industries & high-paying jobs back here and across southeast Ohio soon. Great visit to see our friends in Appalachia tonight.
50 years from now, history will view the current U.S. nuclear energy renaissance as one of the greatest achievements of the Trump administration. It’s truly extraordinary & kudos to Secretary Chris Wright, Assistant Secretary Tim Walsh, and everyone else working hard to pave the way for American greatness. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
"What is there about particular cultures that makes some of them more conducive to economic progress than others?"
Thomas Sowell drops truth: It's an uphill fight to admit internal cultural differences matter — not everything is "outside society's" fault.
Blaming the victim for what happened before you were born gets us nowhere.
🔥 Wisdom from 1998 still hits hard.
We reject the socialist vision of zero-sum economics. I’ll bring an industrial & manufacturing boom to Ohio that lifts businesses & workers together: high-paying jobs, strong apprenticeships, and a leader who puts Ohioans first. Good meeting with members of the Parkersburg-Marietta Building & Construction Trades Council today.
