THE RULES-BASED ORDER
1. The USA rules the world.
2. The USA makes all rules including these rules.
3. No one can know what the rules are, only that they exist.
4. No one is allowed to ask what the rules are.
5. The USA will be in charge of the flexibility provided by the rules’ non-existent nature.
6. Non-western countries must be regularly castigated for not following the rules.
7. Western countries must be regularly praised for following the rules.
8. Alternative rules of governance which work successfully (cf. China, Singapore) must always be derided as “authoritarianism”.
9. Unfair global dominance by the 13% western minority (cf. totalitarianism) must always be referred to as “democracy”.
10. These rules over-ride all other rules, including fundamental justice and the laws of nature.
Thank you and goodnight.
With love, The Pentagon
Is #Yellen nuts?
Basically she’s saying the US should be able to do what it wants (sanctions, sabotage etc) but China can’t retaliate in any way.
Piss off, lady.
Britain’s shortest-serving PM Liz "Show Me the Money" Truss was paid by Taiwanese think tank, the Prospect Foundation, US$100,000 for a speech in May that slammed China & accused Europe of failing to stand by Taiwan in a 4-hour Taiwan engagement

PENTAGON’S HOLLYWOOD ULTIMATUM: The #Pentagon, which has for decades helped #Hollywood produce films that push American #propaganda (soft power) to the world, has decided not to help any directors who change their films in any way for release in #China. But their move is based on a fatal misunderstanding of China’s movie industry.
One recent complaint from the US was China’s request to remove a same sex kiss from animated film Lightyear. Other times, extreme violence has needed to be cut to secure a Chinese release — one example I can remember is the graphic film Wolverine, where a staggering 14 minutes of blood, gore and nudity was cut.
But why does Beijing want to make these cuts? Actually, more often than not it has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with China’s film classification system.
To put it simply, China doesn’t have a rating system (in the West we have PGR, R13, R16 etc), but in China every film needs to be accessible to watch by every age group. There are no ID checks at Chinese cinemas because every film needs to be open to anyone of any age.
In 2021, China became the largest movie box office in the world. Ignore the realities of China’s movie release system and requirements at your own peril.
As usual, the Pentagon’s desperate new move to try and stop filmmakers “kowtowing” to China is — shock horror! — based in misinformation and misunderstanding and will just end up with more American films bombing at the international box office.
With the quality of their recent offerings, maybe that’s a good thing!
Medvedev: "Macron has said several times that he is on the side of Ukraine. It may be time to put an end to this verbal diarrhea and side with France.
The money spent in vain on weapons for the gang of the drug addict Zelensky could have been useful to ordinary French people."
Hungarian FM Szijjarto: “Decoupling & de-risking would be a suicide. China-EU annual trade volume is €865 bln, how could you decouple without killing the European economy? Not to speak we do not look at China as if it was a threat/risk. China is an opportunity and a must.”
This legislation embodies the goal of China’s foreign policy which is to safeguard world peace and promote common development. It reflects China’s strong hope for peace, development and win-win cooperation.
