@ms_tourist The person only showed them a passport and that was good enough. My card had declined and he produced another one. 5 minutes later they tried at Ackerman’s for R6k. Luckily I’d lived whatever little money I’d had. The shop said sorry there’s not much they could’ve done.

@ms_tourist I got the invoice because I’d also punched in my cell/email when providing card details. I actually have the IMEI number. I called Incredible immediately and although the phone came with a free sim they didn’t Rica - only took down his address.

I have the receipt with the IMEI number (bcos he also got my cell number in the cloning process). The issue is your shop Rica’d with only a passport & no proof of residence.@IncConnection @MTN how do they Rica with no proof of residence! They also don’t want to report the fraud!

@IncConnection …someone cloned my card & tried to buy an iPhone 15 yesterday at your Brooklyn shop. The card luckily declined but they still managed to buy the phone (I suppose using someone else’s card). He got an @MTN SIM as well which was Rica’d by your shop with no docs!
