Great to get the @WarrJFL season underway with a trip to Eagle JFC Ajax.
Both teams played superbly, particularly in the hot weather.
Our 15 year old ref, Alex, was superb and managed player welfare with water breaks.

Our last pre-season friendly against @Rainford_JFC U9 Real…. Absolutely cracking match, with both sides playing some great football.
Rowan picked up the Linnets POTM for a superb performance in midfield.

Great game for the Yellows v @VulcanJuniorsFC Titans.
Short on numbers meant the team all had extra match time & positions.
Two POTM today:
Olbie covered the pitch superbly across numerous positions.
Mia played one of her best games and unlucky not to score several goals.

Superb game against @WhistonFc Juve.
Both teams contributed to a competitive match with some excellent play on show.
The Linnets POTM award went to Arthur… composed in a new defensive position during the first half and scored two great goals during second half, as striker!

Excellence friendly against BPR Leiria as we transition to 7v7.

Well done to Ben for picking up our Player of the Match award… as first half goalkeeper, he made some great saves and then topped off a great performance with two goals in the second half. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Competitive @WarrJFL game against Haydock Bulls.
Both sides played some good football.
Two POTM medals:
Jack pulled off some superb saves when he was in goal.
Wilson put in one of his most complete defensive performances - like a brick wall!

Jack’s been a fantastic captain for the last three games, but has now handed the armband to Olbie for the remainder of the season!
He picked Olbie as he’s been a great defender, helping Jack out loads of times when he’s been in goal!
