@FatherLeoFeeds@linorulli This is not appropriate for a priest to be saying. Have the dump button ready next time he comes on your show...or just...don’t have him on.
@jdflynn We are on a soccer field with joggers and drivers regularly passing by on the street. I love it as a tool for evangelization/witness to those people who are passing by. I often see windows rolled down and cars slow to listen in as they go by
@8691Chila @BigPulpit @ScottEricAlt @EWTN@grnonline@gloria_purvis@RaymondArroyo If we are gonna go the scripture route: “Because, though you were ministers of his kingdom, you did not judge rightly, and did not keep the law,nor walk according to the will of God,Terribly and swiftly he shall come against you, because severe judgment awaits the exalted” Wis6:4-5
@BigPulpit @ScottEricAlt @EWTN@grnonline@gloria_purvis@RaymondArroyo Does defunding the police go directly against what the church teaches? And, if not, why would anyone need to “have a chat” with her about it? 🤔
We all complain about how toxic social media has become, but very few of us actually try to change that culture by changing our own behavior. I’m not just talking about being “civil” — I’m talking about rewarding the discourse we want more of, and not spreading the poison. 1/
@dariab222 @reillycosgrove 1/3 What: A place for Catholic women to have uncomfortable conversations and share painful truths.
Who: This community is for women who describe themselves as Catholic and are trying to be faithful to Holy Mother Church.
@dariab222 @reillycosgrove 3/3 How: Treat every woman in this space as though she were your mother, aunty, sister, or daughter. Because she is. Disagreements on opinions or points of view are always welcome. Accusing someone of not being Catholic for any reason is unacceptable.
@dariab222 @reillycosgrove What about something like this:
What: A place for Catholic women to have uncomfortable conversations and share painful truths.
Who: This community is for women who describe themselves as Catholic and are trying to be faithful to the Church’s teachings.
