I have just learnt that Senator Cyrus Jirongo passed away last December in a motor accident. I was not aware that he had died.
This is very sad. Jirongo was a good and patriotic leader who served his country with dedication. We shall miss him. My condolences go to his family, relatives, friends and the people of Kenya. May his soul rest in peace.

Dear @Kenyans Trevor’s statement is not true. There was no such call from former DP Gachagua. Such a call would in any case not be worthwhile at RMS. I have asked Trevor about the remarks and he says it is ‘a mistake and I regret it’. Trevor has also told me he ‘didn’t think the remarks would be picked up.’
