@omgsidewalks I work in an acute care psych hospital. My days off are all about bed rotting; 12 hour shifts in that environment are draining. Even if I like what I do.
@Harden331 It’s the pigeon toed walk- always makes me feel bad that the parents didn’t get corrective braces to fix it. That bothers me more than the shorts? They’d look better with the correct walk.
@Demeter_Erinia Decades of getting up early for kids/work finally just resets your waking internal clock- even when you want to sleep in, body clock says otherwise…
@Gumby590@calleymeans This is true and what most don’t understand. Patients will choose to have outside food brought in by friends/family if only offered healthy nutritional food choices. Happens daily at hospitals. Adults have a choice- you can’t force healthy foods.
@MAHA_Action Unfortunately, a lot of patients complain when given all healthy diets and become difficult by not eating at all or only eating salty/sugary snacks. Hospitals can’t force dietary plans.
@elonmusk Maybe start with Elon, a grown man with kids himself, not using AI to generate all those girls of questionable age videos he’s been posting. Get a handle on that mysogonistic trope, first…
@joeroganhq I went through it with just changing my antidepressant - doctor never mentioned hormones since I didn’t need them. If you need something to help get you through, take it. Personal choice and neither way is wrong.
@TaraBull Somatic seizures- see them a lot in psych hospitals. Often goes along with a mental health diagnosis. Doctors can’t call it epilepsy, because it isn’t. Once someone commits to their belief that it is real, it has to be treated.
@ClassicLearner They do teach it- but American History talks about our history with slavery since it’s part of the history of America. It’s not conspiracy
@danielgothits I’ve been doing this for 4 yrs ever since I had spinal fusion after breaking my back- I just hang from the top of a door frame (hanging on to the molding around a door) and it stretches me out like an accordion and feels great!
