PH keeps blaming BN & PAS for "playing the race card." Funny thing is, if racial politics were really driving this, most Indian voters wouldn't have swung the same way. So that's not it.

Here's the real problem: you never bothered to understand how Malays actually think. Three things drive Malay psychology: dignity, grace, honor. And you violated all three.

You talk about scandals like you're the only adults in the room, dripping with condescension toward anyone who still backs the other side, as if they're just too slow to see what you see. Except they're not slow. They just know the story isn't as simple as your press statements. That smugness didn't win arguments. It just made people quietly dig in harder at the ballot box.

Then you barged into Adat Perpatih like you owned it, crowing about your track record in Negeri Sembilan while mocking the Undang institution in the same breath. That's not how this culture works. Malays read between the lines, tone, body language, what's left unsaid, far more than they read your manifestos. And what your tone said, loud and clear, was contempt.

And through all of it, you kept assuming that fixing potholes and clearing drains would be enough. It never was. Political power here isn't a service contract, it's expected to protect, to stand for people. Every time Malays raised real fears, your answer was some version of "the law already covers that." That's not reassurance. That's dismissal. And people remember being dismissed.

So no, you didn't lose every Malay seat in Negeri Sembilan and Johor because of race politics.

You lost because you got complacent, stopped listening, and now that the results are in, you're pointing fingers at everyone except yourselves.
