Lucky enough to see a pre-screening of the powerful film One Life, about Nicholas Winton who saved over 600 children from the Nazis prior to WW2, it was achieved by British families coming forward to sponsor the children, a lesson for today @amnestyOz

Great to be at #RegionsRising Summit and hearing from Minister @CatherineKingMP. Regional Australia has a huge role to play in refugee resettlement. Community Sponsorship provides a great model for local communities to ‘opt in’ to refugee settlement & plug infrastructure gaps.
